Position: EPC Lead Scheduler (Contractual)

Location: Atlanta, Ga. & Buzzi Cement Plant, Maryneal, Tx.

Duties: Tracking Buzzi Cement Plant expansion Project. Working toward building a Universal WBS for Atlanta Division to integrate with the International plans. Working with P6.2 / rev.8 / and MS Project, built, integrated sub-contractors schedules and tracking progress.

Location: Mississippi Power Company; Plants (Watson, Daniel)

Duties: Verify Outage Schedules in P6 client version created by MPC to D&Z Estimates. Worked with Team Members (MPS Planners/Schedulers and D&Z Estimator, Site Superintendents creating Resource and Man-power loaded Schedules; prepare Earned Value Reports for Tracking.

Working with team members (e.g. Estimators, EPC, Stakeholders, & Project and Site Managers) to obtain goals set and exceed Project Controls expectations.

 

Apr. 2012 – Jan. 2013: Contractual with Shaw Group, Baton Rouge, La.:

Position: Lead Project Controls Scheduler

Location: Regional Fossil Division Office; Goodyear, Az.; West Phoenix Power Plant, Red Hawk Power Plant, Saguaro Power Plant, Sundance Power Plant, Yuma Power Plant and Cholla Power Plant.

Duties: Creating, WBS resource loaded Project Schedules; (e.g. Cooling Tower, Manifold Cleaning, Sodium Hypochlorite Project & Chemical Feed System, Aux Boiler and Forecast Projects thru 2015). Tracking current Schedule; analyzing, evaluating, and forecasting current status against the established Baseline Schedule (Earned Value Analysis). Participating in Team efforts building Estimates for Capital, Construction Outages and Maintenance Schedules.

 

Aug. 2011 – Dec.2011 Contractual with Enerfab, Cincinnati, Oh

TVA – Cumberland City, Tn. & AEP Cardinal Plant, Brilliant, Oh.

Duties: Assisted in creating and expanding Enerfabs’ Boiler, Bottom Ash, Air Heater, and Secondary Super Heat Construction Schedules. Expanded and Processed current schedules for tracking; analyzed, evaluated, and forecast current status against the established baseline schedule (Earned Value Analysis). Assess the impact(s) of changes and schedule slippages. Worked closely with Enerfab Project Management, to maintain Project Goals and formulate the status of the project, communicated with a wide variety of technical professionals.

Imported and tracked weekly fragnets of the Construction Schedules. Created analysis and variance reports for PM on a weekly and monthly basis. Created specific layouts for each project coordinator to track their disciplines in the field. Maintained open and harmonious communications with the EPC Contractor and AEP’s Boiler Contractor. Continued working with the Engineering Schedule as Construction started and progressed.

Position: Lead Engineering Scheduler Primavera (5.5) Maintained Engineering Schedule. Imported monthly EPC Schedule created Baseline Schedules analyzed and reported schedule variances to Project Management. Tracked and analyzed deviations in the Engineering Schedule daily. Maintained open communication with the EPC contractor for solutions to Engineering ad hoc review deviations.

2005 Fall Outage – Position: Scheduler Primavera (P3) Contractual for Shaw/Stone and Webster, Big Cajun II Fossil Fuel Plant, New Roads, La.

Created, maintained Schedule for New Roads Generation Fall Outage. Schedule was hourly based, multi calendar, resource loaded for Boiler Outage and Cooling Tower Maintenance.
